MOTIVATION FOR MAKING THE CUT

Do you feel as though you can be and experience more in life? Do you often feel powerless and a victim of your circumstances? Perhaps you simply desire more happiness in life. I believe happiness is the constant movement from a state of peace to pleasure. The more we are able to maintain this cycle the happier we are, but it’s not dependent upon the up and details of external events.
Because of fear we give so much of our power away, leading us to feel helpless, victimized and left to the whims of others and our environment. Fear is perhaps the biggest obstacle to realizing our happiness. It is not our fear of failure, but our fear of realizing the fullness and greatness of who we are. The divinity of our being.

We all love super heroes and idolize athletes as the help us to not only create a vison of what is possible, but they are also able to materialize this vision. They are far from infallible, but exemplify the ability to step into their greatness by leveraging life’s challenges.

I believe within each of us lies a super hero. It is your apparent weaknesses and life’s challenges that are necessary for you to leverage and step into your power. That is a part of the process.

I am no guru, but only hope that through sharing my experiences may serve youas a guide to not only move past your own challenges but leverage them to catapult you forward in unanticipated and miraculous ways.

In Making the Cut I share my experiences in athletics and medical training–opportunities that have forced me to remove or cut away ways of being and thinking that hindered me from realizing my power. Implementing these same steps will allow you as well to leverage all your life experiences to overcome fear and reclaim your power.
